This year was rather significant for VELESSTROY, and has largely influenced the company’s future for the next few years.
In July, this year, a contract was signed for construction and installation of cryogenic gas separation units at the Amur Gas Processing Plant (GPP) in the town of Svobodny. The new gas processing plant will become one of the world's largest natural gas processing plants.
In 2018, VELESSTROY will proceed with the construction of Trains 2 and 3 of the Yamal LNG Project located at Yamal peninsula.
In 2017, VELESSTROY completed construction of four cryogenic tanks and Train 1 of the plant. On December 8, Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, took part in the ceremony of first loading of liquefied natural gas from Yamal LNG. VELESSTROY team is proud of participating in such a significant national project.
As part of the ESPO PS Expansion Project, VELESSTROY has completed the construction of three oil pump stations: PS # 3, PS # 6 and PS # 9, located in Irkutsk Region. The stations will increase the throughput capacity of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline system (ESPO) to maximum of 80 million tons per annum. After delivery of objects, VELESSTROY signed a contract for the construction of three new oil pump stations No. 2, No. 5 and No. 7 and will proceed in 2018.
Today, VELESSTROY is conducting construction work on such major projects as construction of the Ammonia Production plant in Leningrad Region, linear runs of the 70th and 77th kilometers of the ESPO pipeline, reconstruction of the Grushovaya Terminal, and others. In 2018, we are looking forward to expand business portfolio with new interesting projects.
In 2017, the Company entered Top 250 largest construction companies of the world ‘ENR's 2017 Top 250 International Contractors’ for the first time, taking the 147th line immediately.
VELESSTROY again entered TOP 100 in the Forbes "200 Largest Private Companies in Russia" rating. Moreover, in 2016 VELESSTROY reached the 97th line, in 2017 it took the 91st position.
In May 2017, the RAEX expert agency (Expert RA) revised the rating of VELESSTROY using a new methodology and assigned rating at ruBBB level, which shows the high level of the company's creditworthiness.
In 2017, VELESSTROY employees and managers received honorary awards from PJSC Transneft for the implementation of the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline system, the Kuyumba Taishet main pipeline, the comprehensive reconstruction of the Shesharis Transshipment Facilities, the construction of the South project facilities and the reconstruction of "Tikhoretsk-Novorossiysk” main pipelines. A total of 60 people were awarded.
In August 2017 our employee, Nikolay Myalichev, was awarded the gratitude of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The truck crane operator, Grade 7, received a letter of acknowledgement for his great personal contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex and long-term conscientious work.
In September, our employees, Grade 7 bulldozer operator Sergey Kiselev and Grade 6 driver Alfrid Kamalov, were awarded with gratitude and a Letter of Acknowledgment from the President of the Russian Federation for great contribution to the construction and commissioning of "Zapolyarye-Purpe" and "Kuyumba-Taishet" main oil pipelines.
In November 2017, President of the Company Mikhailo Perenchevich and First Vice President Kresimir Filipovich were awarded with the Certificate of Honor for major contribution to the implementation of strategically important construction projects by order of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
This year was rather significant for our company but there is no reason in relaxing! We are facing new goals and tasks, new projects and plans. And we hope we succeed!
