Yesterday, on September 21, Vladimir Putin took his part in production start-up of Vostochno-Messoyakha field via a video conference. Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin, Gazprom Chairman of the Management Committee Alexey Miller and Chairman of Gazprom Neft Management Board Alexander Dyukov took part in the solemn event, too.
VELESSTROY was engaged in construction and installation in this field. Also, VELESSTROY completed the full package of commissioning works on the sites of the pressure crude oil pipeline of Central Production Facility, and Gas Turbine Power Plant (GTPP), and crude oil acceptance transfer unit. All the facilities are already accepted by the Client.
The start-up initial point was Messoyakha Central Production Facility. It is the location that crude oil will be shipped from to Zapolyarie-Purpe Pipeline System, and next via Purpe-Samotlor Pipeline System, and farther via Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean Pipeline System. It is of importance VELESSTROY was involved in construction of all above-said pipeline systems as the General Contractor.
Vostochno-Messoyakha field is the northmost field in inland Russia. Due to this location there are major problems for cargo deliveries: construction materials, and food stuff, and personal protective equipment, and other items could be supplied only via the local ice road. VELESSTROY managed this problem with an ease since the company was being as hard as nails on the sites of ESPO construction before.
