Construction Phase 1 of the Booster Compressor Station Nears Completion In Sakhalin

In the Sakhalin project, Phase 1 is nearing completion for construction of the Booster Compressor Station. Foundations are concreted (87% ready), structural steel is installed (76% ready), excavations are performed (73%). Waterproofing and foundation back-filling, equipment and sandwich panel installation are extensively underway.

Concurrently, our specialists are welding the pipelines (for this purpose extra welding teams have been mobilized.) Pre-fabricated sections of above-ground piping are mounted on pipe racks.

Also, on this site, preparatory works on installation of the flare stack are being in progress: pre-assembly and installation of service platforms.

In April, the project team will switch to Phase 2 i.e. interior finishing of the buildings and structures.
