Construction sites prepare for the fire seasons

Following an instruction from the Company management all construction project sites have firebreak lines around the accommodation camps cleared of trees and dry grass. Security personnel make day and night walkdowns to make sure no accidental fire goes unnoticed. 

Fire teams and volunteer fire squads train to put out forest fires on a regular basis. At the same time, fire safety system operation is tested. Residential and administrative buildings go through non-schedulled checks. 

All identified problems are examined by an accident-prevention and fire safety committees at the projects. Velesstroy is fully prepared for the hot season.
