Spool fabrication and installation accounting made automatic by Velesstroy-SMU

Velesstroy-SMU has made automatic the spool (piping workpieces assembled together) fabrication and installation accounting. The digital solution has been developed specifically to meet project needs following a specification by Velesstroy-SMU. A corresponding application has been created to make the process more convenient. 

The system promptly takes stock of the materials and finished products and tracks all spool fabrication stages: from the design stage to the handover for installation. 

So far the system has:

– sped up data processing (earlier, it had to be entered manually); 

– sped up the reporting process; 

– brought down the production costs. 

At the moment the system has been integrated at the Amursky Gas Processing Plant. More than a hundred users are benefiting from the new IT solution.
