VELESSTROY Team achievements in 2020

In 2020 we completed construction at five projects and took on new contracts. 

Grushovaya-6 Project 

VELESSTROY constructed four 30 000 m3 tanks at the Grushovaya-6 Project. The main capacities of the tank farm continued their routine operation while the works were still underway, and petroleum products were shipped as schedulled. 

Anapa-2 Sports and Recreation Complex Project 

In 2020 the Project team completed construction of the second sports and recreation complex in Anapa. 

Kindergartens in Novy Urengoy 

VELESSTROY constructed two state of the art kindergartens in Novy Unrengoy. With the help of our construction workers beautiful buildings with out-of-the-way spacious rooms and next-generation utilities appeared in the tundra region. Sozvezdie (Constellation) kindergarten in the Slavyansky district will accommodate up to 300 children. Here from the very young age they will be learning robotics and programming. Excitement awaits at Yamal kindergarten in the Tundrovy district as well: the building houses a swimming pool, a sensory room and an actual observatory. 

Yamal LNG Administrative Area Project 

Construction of the LNG Plant Administrative Area was finished at Yamal. 

Sulphur Recovery Unit at Omsk Refinery 

The Project team at Omsk Refinery has finished the construction of the Sulphur Recovery Unit as part of the Advanced Oil Refining Complex. At the moment, the commissioning of the Refinery Delayed Coking Unit construction site is underway. More than 1500 people are engaged in the project. Site roads have been completed as has been the workshop welding of piping. 97% of the steel structures have been installed. Other works are also in process. 69% of the instrumentation cables and 60% of the power cables have been installed. Process piping is 77% complete while the corresponding testing activities have progressed by almost as much as one third. 

CPC-R DBNP Group of Projects 

In December 2020 VELESSTROY signed a contract with JSC CPC-R for the upgrading of facilities as part of the Debottlenecking Program (DBNP). The goal of DBNP is to optimise the throughput of CTC. Implementation of this program will create new capacities for oil transportation when they are required. VELESSTROY will perform upgrading in Kalmykia, Astrakhan Oblast and Stavropol Krai at PS Komsomolskaya, PS-2, PS-3, APS-5A, APS-4A, PS Astrakhanskaya, PS-4, PS-5 and construct and modernise MT SF facilities in Krasnodar Krai.
